     For All The Children of God to be the spiritual man
 SOMETIMES RARELY SUNNY (Hymn No.53)
Hymns Collection of Praising Life Testimony Message

Note: I have not seen a music sheet for this hymn yet. According to the spiritual need of the church, last night,(3-23-2010 ) the Lord has specially led me to use the classic tune by Mrs Lewis S.Chafer to adapt to “Sometimes it is rarely sunny”,one of Brother Nee hymns. I am really not worthy. I can only give all the thanks to Him! May the Spirit that inspired me also touch many brothers and sisters to be close to God! W Spencer Walton once used this tune for another hymn called “I cannot breathe enough of Thee”. The tune here is just for the purpose of singing with this hymn temporarily. Please supply the saints by making a new tune by all means for those who have burden to do so. Thank you! 3-24-2010 Sister Esther AiGuang Wang Praising_Life1.html

Translated from Chinese by Brother Enoch

   1
  Sometimes rarely, rarely sunny,
  Often you see dark clouds.
  Once at midnight, singing so sweet,
  Yet, often time there was no rhyme;
  Although, rarely sunny,
  It is always cloudy.

   2
  Pressing caused me, patience to learn,
  Pressing led me, God to seek.
  Sometimes it was , it was so dry,
  It was the cool so hard to find;
  How heavy will you strike,
  The rock can give the drink?
   3
  What temperature, your fire to burn,
  Counting the trial complete?
  How deep how hurt my wound would be
  Will I flow out, flow out sweetness?
  Will I flow out sweetness?
  Will I flow out sweetness?
   4
  Sometimes I need, I need the thorns,
  I can express your power,
  I once almost approached the death,
  Suffered the loss no food and sleep;
  suff’ring the loss of all,
  I can be free of all.

   5
  Nothing to have, no one to turn;
  Don’t be anxious , trust Lord ,
  Sometimes there was, there was a fight,
  Brother against, against brother;
  A heavy punch to seek,
  Angry to each other.

   6
  To be alone, alone with Thee,
  Singing my praise to Thee.
  I know Thine heart is so in pain,
  I can’t compare my loss with Thee;
  Thus learn fellowship of Suff’ring,
  Thus learn fellowship of Suff’ring.
   7
  Yearly rolling, time runs so fast,
  My life has come to an end.
  In Thy presence, I’m now sitting,
  Clicking the sound I’m hearing;
  Hearing the clicking sound,
  Making me feel the dusk.

   8
  The waning moon above the sky,
  The breaking life down earth.
  Ahead you see the few dark clouds,
  Many, many are left behind;
  The future of my life,
  Making my past split.

    9
   The disappearing, disappearing years
   are dissolving life problems.
   What we can see is temporary,
   The unseen things’re now coming;
   Looking the hope above,
   My heart has settled there!

    10
    Recalling past for everything:
    Day in day out, months to year,
    Years had my life swiftly formed,
    Looking towards the goal I run;
    Looking from scratch again,
    Which one is much sweeter?

    11
    Is the sunrise more attractive?
    or the sunset more real?
    Sunset we see is close to Thee,
    Sunset we see is near Thy home;
    I’m waiting for Thy coming,
    I’m losing strength of mine.

    12
    My eyes’re getting weary,
    The human tent soon to move.
    Surrounding mountains smiles wave,
    Pointing to me to rest in Thee;
    All burdens will be away,
    Hastily I return to Thee!
